This announcement will be used to fill Child and Youth Program Assistant positions located on the NORTH side of the Island of Oahu. This geographic location covers Schofield Barracks and The Helemano Military Reservation in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
Positions under this vacancy announcement may be filled with multiple employment categories (ex: Flexible/Intermittent scheduled or as needed, Regular full and part time etc.).
Hours will vary by facility:
Child Development Centers: 0530-1815, M-F with occasional nights and weekends in support of special events.
Middle School/Teen Programs: 0530-1815, M-F with availability for nights and weekends.
School Age Centers: 0530-1815 , M-F with availability to work split shifts and special events until 2300 on nights and weekends.
Kids On Site, Outreach Services: Must be available to work between the hours of 0515 - 1815 and on Holidays, weekends, nights, split shifts and special events. Employees are required to travel to various locations island wide to provide child care are necessary.
Entitled to 12.25% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) (Island of Oahu). COLA is subject to change without notice

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
