Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Responsibilities Summary:   The Data Project Manager is an exempt management position responsible for the overall supervision and success of project personnel at the data collection site.  Directly responsible to upper management for site performance and operation, employee selection and training, work planning, reviewed data quality and completeness, deliverable schedule, and responding to customer requirements.                                                                         Duties and Responsibilities: Executes the management directives of the Senior Management Team (SMT). Keeps the SMT informed of site activities and developments. Trains new personnel and ensures compliance with data collection processes and procedures IAW program directives. Ensures timely and complete data collection, review and delivery by site employees. Performs data documentation review and verification, and validation, quality control and approval of collected data. Notifies the RM of upcoming field exercise activity and deployments. Informs the SDM and or DM team of requirement to accompany unit to exercise or deployed location. Prepares and submits site related recurring and non-recurring reports. Ensures timely completion of required Government and corporate training, and adherence to applicable policies and procedures by all site employees. Ensures quarterly GFE inventories are completed and results expeditiously reported to the contract property manager. Coordinates with the SMT for surge assistance in processing data backlog. Ensures program personnel receive appropriate logistical and Information Technologysupport. Approves employee time and expense reports, and manages scheduling of employee PTO to ensure adequate site staffing is available at all times to support mission requirements. Coaches and mentors employees to success. Completes annual performance reviews. Participates in teleconferences, as required. Maintains an up to date site briefing. Performs other duties, as assigned. Foreign Location Deployments:  The position is based in the United States, but may require temporary deployment overseas for up to 18 months.  Therefore, the following requirements apply:   Must be able to obtain a valid US passport and travel to a foreign country. Must comply with all U.S., host nation, and third country laws.  Must comply with U.S. regulations, directives, instructions, policies, and procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities:  Responsible for the supervision of all contractor employees at the site. Qualifications Qualifications:  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position duties satisfactorily.    Education and/or Experience Requirements:  B.S.degree in business management or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience. 10-12 years of experience with Army maintenance operations, policies and procedures. 5 years minimum experience in the supervision and management of personnel. Capable of effectively using Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook), and other software applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. Req # 2018-53129

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
